Dozie is a thinker.

A watcher.

A storyteller.

He came to Canada as an immigrant,

but he soon learned people saw only

that one word.

Only that one box.

But Dozie knew he was more.

Way more.

Three months in,

he felt the weight.

People asked him the same things.

Made the same guesses.

Told the same stories about “immigrants.”

But every immigrant is different.

Every journey is personal.

Every story is its own world.

So Dozie built........

The Newcomers 

A media home for real stories, real voices, real humans.

A space where immigrants are seen

as full people, not one label.

He grew up in Zaria, Nigeria,

inside a university town, with books,

bikes, big ideas, and parents who

pushed him to learn and lead.

Life there shaped his mind.

Life in Canada shaped his mission.

His biggest challenge?

Learning how Canada works —the

workplace, the money system, the unspoken rules.

Now he helps others find their way too.

Dozie loves to serve immigrants.

To show them they are not alone.

To let them know their story has power.

He believes we can build a world where

many cultures stand strongside by side.

A world that works for everyone.

Today, he creates stories,

videos, and deep conversations.

He also helps people shape podcasts

and build shows that truly land.
